RECEPTION AREA.

The heart of the wall, you are greeted by warm friendly staff, and climbers alike, We have full disabled access with showers and toilet facilities. A well stocked climbing shop, with products such as climbing shoes, Bouldering mats, a selection of clothing, and equipment. Ropes, karabiners and guide books.

A notice board will keep you up to date with all that is happening at EVOLUTION Also Tea, Coffee, Soft Drinks, and Confectionary for that mid climb energy boost.

 

MAIN BARN BOULDERING AREA.

A fully dedicated Bouldering facility with the largest featured roof in the the country, Dedicated route setters ensure that the area has new routes on a weekly basis, offering the climber a fresh challenge every visit.

Fully matted with a one piece mat makes it a nice safe environment for all to enjoy. The features have endless possibilities for making your own routes up.

We also have a state of the art sound system, simply plug in your own MP3 or CD player in and listen to your own tunes when you are climbing. Indoor and outdoor seating and rest areas help you have a relaxing time when you are not climbing.

Brilliant new ply bouldering area now open with all angles including massive 40 deg board.

Children's Tunnel this unlit adventure winds its way around the back of the climbing wall and has been a real hit with the youngsters.

Every Sunday from 10am - 12pm we run our children's bouldering academy and although you are welcome to use the centre during this time it is usually quite busy.

 

MAIN BARN ROPED CLIMBING.

The Roped area although part of the main climbing barn, is totally separate from the rest of the wall, with over 50 Lead/bottom rope routes on bolt on and featured holds. So ensuring privacy when hired as a group or party. Its fully curved resin features make it an enjoyable experience for the novice climber right through to experienced climbers.

A padded floor adds extra safety and ground anchors are provided for instructional use.

The routes are changed on a weekly basis so you will never climb the same route twice, with a ground level traverse to get you warm, this space is ideal for small groups to have parties and private instruction.

Our Roped climbing area has been extensively extended with 33% more climbing. Routes are higher and longer and now worth leading. There is no extra charge for using this fantastic new facility, but for lead climbing in this area you will require your own equipment - Dynamic Rope, Quickdraws etc.

We have also added some elements to make our children's (or Adults) courses even more fun and exciting.

Leap Of Faith - Climb up our highest wall to a tiny platform, turn around so you face outward and then..... leap into space and try and reach our trapeze suspended seemingly out of reach. Real heart in mouth stuff but the exhilaration when you clasp the bar is fantastic.

Abseil - Ascend our abseil tower then control your own descent on a rope - protected at all times by our encouraging instructor. Scary the first time but you'll want a second go straight away.

 An 8m long Slackline (like a tightrope but slack!!) 3 metres up is now also possible.

 

WOODY' TRAINING WALL

Just of the main reception and completely separate to the main barn, is the newly refurbished woody room. A dedicated training facility.  With a 40 degree system board, a stepped roof, A whole host of wonderful angles from prows to tufas to roofs.

The room also benefits from a fully dedicated Campus board so you can 1 - 5 - 9 to your hearts content, An area with several different finger boards, pull up bars and free weights.

Fully matted with soft mats!

MEETING ROOM

We have a well equipped meeting room for birthday party food, lectures and meetings. This room can be rented in periods of 30mins. Its is equipped with a Kitchen and seats up to 20 for food.

£10 per 30 Minutes.

Children's Party Food

Food is an optional extra with any party, we will take care of everything all you need to bring is the cake!

Choice of sandwiches, soft drink, fruit, vegetable sticks, crisps, choc bar and cake, all prepared for you in our meeting room
