Children's Holiday Courses run daily during school holidays (East Sussex). Students can attend, as many days as they wish. Younger students may find doing multiple days hard work so varied courses can be booked over the whole holiday period and as and when required. We would recommend that the courses are done in order even if students have climbed before elsewhere, we are a teaching establishment and not just about giving a brief experience. 

TUESDAYS - WOODLAND ADVENTURES.

Brilliant days out in the countryside doing stuff that all kids will find exciting and stimulating. Making rucsacs, navigation, shelters, fires, cooking and some extra adventure at the end make these days very popular. Parents are welcome to accompany children on this course.

 WEDNESDAYS - INTRODUCTION TO INDOOR CLIMBING (Evolution Indoor Climbing)

Action packed days at our own dedicated climbing centre. Learn to climb properly with our instructors. The day uses all areas of our centre with Bouldering, Abseiling and Roped Climbing.

THURSDAYS - INTRODUCTION TO OUTDOOR CLIMBING (Harrisons Rocks)

These fantastic days start with a bouldering/weaselling session, students are taught how to move properly on rock and then spend time doing loads of short climbs and problems protected by their instructor at all times they go through caves and squeezes, and get to explore the whole of Harrisons Rocks. After lunch we get the ropes out and everyone gets to have a go at full height rope climbs.

FRIDAYS - IMPROVING YOUR OUTDOOR CLIMBING (Harrisons Rocks)

This day is for all students who have done one of our the introduction days and want to spent a more leisurely day concentrating on roped climbing and improving technique and grade. The instructor will work towards each students individual abilities and choose climbs that will be challenging but achievable. This course is aimed at older children 8+.

Evolution Bouldering Academy

The academy's ultimate aim is to produce the next top British champion, a bold claim but we think we can do it. We have one of the best Bouldering facilities in the country, we have some of the best coaches and most important we have have some very determined and talented youngsters. We have already have  the 2006/7 Southern Junior Bouldering Champion on our team!  That is not to say that you have to be a good climber to attend this session if you are over 6 years old then you can come along. A couple of our coaches assisted by members of our junior climbing team will coach you for the 2 hours. With regular grading you should quickly progress through the scheme gaining awards as you go.
